How is my energy data used in calculations?

We use your factory's energy mix to build a factory-specific emission factor. We combine it with typical energy consumption per manufacturing process and calculate emissions per production step.

No machine-level data is needed.

This follows the same LCA methodology (ISO 14040, PEFCR-aligned) that brands use for their reporting. Without your data, we apply conservative country-level estimates instead — these usually overstate your emissions.
