How do I get my materials added to the directory?

  1. You share your existing LCA documents confidentially with the Carbonfact Science team. We keep them confidential and sign NDAs if needed.
  2. Our internal Science team reviews and verifies the documents at no cost, ensuring methodological consistency and comparability.
  3. The verified environmental data and system boundary are added to Carbonfact for Suppliers, and you receive a supplier profile and a dedicated page per material, both fully editable by you.
  4. Brands can discover your materials and request access to your LCA data.
  5. If a brand submits a request for your data, you are notified and decide whether or not to share the data with that brand.
  6. Only once you approve access can the brand view the data on Carbonfact for Suppliers. Here is an example of a shared material.
  7. If the brand is also a Carbonfact customer, your material can additionally be used in their eco-design simulations (e.g., comparing MANTECO recycled wool against virgin wool).
