Carbonfact treats supplier LCA data as confidential by default. Sharing environmental data via Carbonfact for Suppliers is more secure than sharing it directly via PDF with a brand, because you don’t share the actual document with the brand, only the verified environmental data and system boundary.

• LCA documents are hosted securely within Carbonfact’s infrastructure and are not made publicly accessible.
• Suppliers remain fully in control of who can view their environmental data (e.g., specific brands upon request).
• Any data shared with brands is used solely for environmental assessment and modeling purposes and is protected under Carbonfact’s standard data security and confidentiality safeguards. See the details here.
