Managing environmental data is complex, and it won’t get any simpler any time soon. We’ve built these updates for companies overseeing multiple brands, brands who want to communicate about their sustainability efforts with the Green Claims directive in mind, and to increase flexibility and control over your own data.
These new and updated features will help you save considerable time, reduce manual processes, and improve the precision of your environmental data – a process we’re happy to guide you through.
With the final version of the Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCR) now officially released for apparel and footwear, we're actively integrating its key features into Carbonfact. This update will enable your teams to easily display the complete breakdown of PEF’s 16 impact indicators, adjust product footprints based on the functional unit per use, and include PEFCR’s default durability and repairability factors directly into your environmental calculations.
These enhancements will further support your compliance with EU sustainability standards by visually displaying the impact of a product across all 16 PEF environmental indicators in one glance. Stay tuned for the full announcement in a few weeks!
