This month, we’re introducing a major upgrade in how you access insights on your environmental data.
With the launch of Copilot for Explorer, a fully customizable homepage, and deeper Digital Product Passport (DPP) traceability, your data has become easier to access and understand than ever before.
Here are the key updates:
- Copilot for Explorer: ask questions in natural language and instantly generate data-backed answers, sourced on Explorer views built to answer your questions.
- A new customizable homepage: track the metrics and Explorer views that matter most to you.
- More Granular Product Journey Mapping in DPP: Improved traceability with factory names now showing, as well as a visual map of material and processing locations.
Update 1: Copilot for Explorer – Your Personal Data Assistant
Explorer is powerful, but navigating filters and dimensions can sometimes slow down analysis – especially for non-technical users. Copilot for Explorer changes that.

You can now ask questions in natural language, and Copilot will:
- Retrieve the relevant data
- Generate the appropriate visualization
- Provide a clear explanation
- Link directly back to the exact Explorer view used as the source
Instead of manually configuring views, teams can move from question to answer in seconds – whether preparing executive reports, identifying emission hotspots, or analyzing supplier performance.
If you’re a customer of Carbonfact, we’ll be reaching out to you via email to tell you more about Copilot for Explorer.
Update 2: A Homepage Built Around Your Priorities
We’ve reconfigured Carbonfact homepage to make it more actionable from the moment you log in.

You can now:
- Pin your most important Explorer views
- Select the KPIs you want to monitor
- Track progress toward project goals in one place
Instead of navigating through the platform to find what matters, your most important metrics are immediately visible. The homepage becomes a working dashboard, not just a starting point.
Update 3: More Granular Product Journey Mapping in DPP
We’ve strengthened Carbonfact’s DPP to give you more visibility into each product’s supply chain journey. This update improves how process steps are displayed and makes it easier to clearly show where and how a product was made.

The product journey section now displays process steps with greater granularity on an all-new map. When available, factory names are shown directly, improving supply chain traceability and clarity.
No extra steps are needed to make this visible within your DPP – when the data is available, it will show.
Why This Matters
Environmental data only creates value when it’s easy to access, understandable, and actionable.
Copilot removes friction from analysis while the newly customizable homepage surfaces the metrics that matter most to you. Meanwhile, the expanded traceability in our DPP solution, especially with the ability to surface factory names, brings its consumer transparency to a new level.
We hope you enjoy these updates, and we’re looking forward to hearing your feedback!
